Baltimore Sea Safari offer a variety of boat trips from Baltimore in West Cork, ranging from a 20 mins Seal Watch and harbour trip to a 2 + hour full Sea Safari experience. All of our trips offer a chance to see whales, dolphins and porpoise in their natural habitats. We have a good working relationship with fishermen, ferries and other boat operators in the area, and with a group sharing of information on sightings of whale, dolphins and other wildlife, it helps to increase the chances of our passengers seeing such wildlife.

This is a shorter version of our Sea Safari trip; and is an excellent way to get out on the water for a taster of what the waters and the coastline around Baltimore and the islands have to offer. Take in the beautiful West Cork scenery and splendid views, whether on a tranquil journey along the Ilen River; through Roaringwater Bay and past Jeremy Iron’s Kilcoe Castle or heading offshore past Sherkin Island and Baltimore Beacon to visit the magical Kedge Island, with its seal colony. Each route that we take is unique with many different sights and wildlife to be seen. We will divert our boat to encounter any fresh whale, dolphin or wildlife sightings that may be in the area.
